I'm not saying it's right to excert such violence, but as amphead said, tempers are touchy right now and the image of people in the middle east laughing and partying and saying "bullseye" leave a bit of a sore spot.

Reminds me of a few months ago when I seen a guy with an Iraqi flag bumpersticker on his car. I have no problem with Iraqi Canadians, but flaunting that flag publicly seemed to me like a major slap in the face to the country he's living in, considering we (Canada) sent soldiers over there, who risked their lives because of the Iraqi government's stupidity and arrogance.
The same goes for your bastard neighbours out celebrating. That is just uncalled for and totally disrespectful to the country they are living in.
I just watched a news report on Fox and it looks like we can expect the bombing of Afghanistan infrastructure in the near future. That's what they get for harbouring terrorists.
If anyone finds my attitude offensive, I don't really give a shit. I find the murder of 30,000+ innocent people more offensive.

This is pissing me off now.
You know that footage of people dancing in the streets in Palestine? The one with the larger lady in the black headdress? Well you know what the US media isn't showing the whole of that footage. Over here on the BBC a few hours ago I saw the full footage. I saw the police in that country come up to her and the other people and slap them down and scream at them for being a moron. I heard reports of people in Lebanon being arrested for protests.
Keep in mind you only see what the person who edits the footage wants you to see.
Calling people dot heads and towel heads is something 10 years old childern of racists do. Are you teaching your kids to go to school and say these things to their classmates? If so shame on you!
Of course you are upset. I don't think doesn't know someone who was directly effected by this. My step daughter found out today one of her best friends is in hospital with glass in her eye from the falling debris. However there is NO excuse some of the comments I have read on these various threads. Especially the comment about rounding up all arabs and killing them. How is that *any* different than what these pigs did? Insert Jewish in that statement and we have something many of our grandparents fought against.

Also you know not all Arabs have the same religious beliefs. Not all Islamic people are extremists. Just like not all Christian people killed Jewish people in WW2. Not Everyone with a 'dot' on their head is an Arab and not all islamic people look like Arabs. Does Louis Farikan look Arab? I disagree with every word that man says but I also know he doesn't speak for every beliver of Islam.

I am glad everyone here seems to think that this is some kind of joke about living arround the Arabs.
I live in the Detroit area. Anyone from arround here should be familiar with Dearborn, Dearborn Heights. Also known as "Dearbanon".
Reason being, is that Dearborn MI is the largest Arabic/Islamic community in the United States. So large that they have actually petitioned the city/county and state to have make part of Dearborn "theirs". Including having their own currency!
I can truly say that 95% of ALL gas stations/party stores in this area are owned and operated by the Aarabs. Not only here in Detroit but as far down as to almost Toledo OH. I am sure that they own more to the north as far as Pontiac MI. As well as through out the suburbs too.
I can assure you that they are not out dancing, having parties ect. The mood here amongst the community is pretty hostile. There have been very many reports of death threats to many of the local stores/gas station clerks and owners. As well as some local families! There has also been some acts of violence here against a few in the Arabic community.
This is a very serious topic and a situation that should not be taken lightly. It realy pains me to see everyone here laughing and thinking it is some kind of joke.
For some of you this may not seem to serious but to others that live dead in the middle of the US' largest Arabic commounity it is a potentially very bad situation and we are all very concerned what may happen here.
It is late here though, I'd just thought I'd share a few of my thoughts on "got arab's on your block"
