    this is way better then AdAware...

    never heard of it until i did a search for a spyware/adware destroyer other then AdAware, which i don't really find good - its SUPERAntiSpyware (free), and it worked like a charm for me! Where adaware didnt spot a huge amont of spy crap, this baby did AND fixed everything.

      Microsoft's product is still the best I've used. Haven't had any issues on multiple PCs for months now.

                                          Same here. Their new software is called Windows Defender. I haven't had a problem so I guess it works.

                                                  Actually, he's not kidding. Windows Defender used to be known as Giant AntiSpyware, and it rocks. It's basically the same software, just a different name and different GUI after microsoft purchased the rights to it.

                                                  I just hope they keep it going as strong as Giant had done.
