    Ben Franklin....

Despite being over rated as a founding father, potentially a satanist.

When you grow up in Philly you hear all these things on top of the normal history stuff. I don't think he was that overrated considering the number of things he was responsible for introducing to the country. I do think that the majority of the people in his level of society at the time were probably less than pristine.

                  Ah, then carry on.

Maybe I should have worded it a little differently, like: 'What's your point?' :D

                  Btw, what is your point?

Overrated? Benjamin Franklin is underrated if anything. He was truly a genius, a mover and a shaker and a man who directly affected the course of world history. Not only was he directly responsible for a major role in the successful foundation of the United States with his work as ambassador to France , but his work as a scientist, author and founder of the Post office and myriad other accomplishments are nothing short of amazing that one man could do all he did, much of it when he was an older man.

I remember as a kid going on field trips to the Franklin Institute.

                        That is all.
