You know I don't really get in front of the camera much these days. But when I do I expect to be paid for my work.

Long story short....
My agent guaranteed I would be paid. It's been over a month and I've pretty much been told to fuck myself. So I'm contemplating going down to their place with a bat and kicking in the door and getting my money the old fashioned way.

I'm in the UK and I'm wondering what's the worst that can happen to me.
I tried asking a cop and all he could say to me was, "Ms. you don't want to do that because it ilegal and not very lady-like."

(Thanks for telling me what I could be charged with. I can't tell you how many times I laid awake at night wondering if kicking doors in was proper behaviour for a lady.)

So I'm going to call an lawyer later today. But I thought, what the hell.... The posters on GoFuckYourself have always been a source of wisdom and information.

If the people on here aren't working out Einstien's theories...
Then they are talking about new medical advances in surgery and examining the work of plastic surgeons on Brazilian trannies.

Which was a main reason why I didn't do that when Extreme Associates owed me money. Let's just say I considered it back then.... but that entire crazy, most likely got a gun thing kept me in check.

You should check your agent! Lady should always get paid to do work, even if it did not turn out as planed, the work was done and the paperwork signed.

Well if you did not get paided, the 2257 is no good, and they cannot use your stuff. Consider that end and taalk to an attorney

It was my agent that isn't paying me. Not the production company.. I'm now chasing after the producer.

Well I'm in the UK so 2257 doesn't apply. But yes I should be paid and in a timely fashion. Man... I just moved to the UK and I'm not trying to be a bitch or make enemies. (I know I've kicked a few asses on here)

But shit....
Am I expecting too much from the British industry? Because everyone I talk to is like "Oh well.. Walpole is like that. But they are nice people"
(*sorry but I don't need friends that owe me money*)

And on a slightly related side note... I understand "the rude ugly american tourist" from the american's point of view.
You just want people to take their job seriously and give you some service. And this is exactly the problem I'm getting in my situation. No one is doing thier job.
