The law would seem to make it a tiny bit harder for pedos and would-be abductors of kids to operate freely, and it creates a situation where there is one less place for them to be where kids are. If that helps prevent even one kid from going missing or coming to harm I for one am all for it. If there are any "idiots" in this thread they are the ones opposing the law.

Count me as an idiot then.
Most molestations are family members or someone trusted by family.
Most abductions are family members.
People want some actual change accept the main issue that real pedo's (not the fucked up ones cause of the law sex offenders) will not be changed and thus should not be released from prison once caught and just perhaps just change that law. As it stands a sex offender is not allowed at a park anyways despite any additional rules.
