I agree. there's a load of good tutorials, seo and traffic forums. if you start off trading links with decent sites then that will eventually lead to a better SE ranking and a better quality of traffic etc basically you will get out of it what you put into it .. just like life

If your seriously looking for an ADVICE you would do research, use google, read about traffic and anything else related to that. Instead you come here and ask for someone to do the work for you and your to "cool" to do some grunt work. I've found that the easiest way to generate decent traffic is through blogs. Seeing as how you have a nice stable of writers at your disposal, it might be a good idea to pick a few domains that you own, or buy a few, and have them tailored toward a specific niche.
Fill them with some great blog posts... about 100 to 150 words each and with a few choice key phrases. Try to focus on long-tail key phrases as the more specific they are, the more of a chance you stand in ranking well.
Find some good, solid sites on http://www.thunder-ball.net and initiate A-B-C trades. While not infallible, it's a good start in building backlinks that will win a few brownie points with the big G.
In addition to getting backlinks to your splash or index page, you should also develop a deep linking strategy. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to submit individual blog pages/posts to websites like http://www.socialporn.com. The main goal would be to gain some links, but you can also catch traffic and bookmarkers from adult Digg-like sites.
Starting with a solid Wordpress theme, should you choose to use this publishing platform, is also a good idea. There are many free templates at http://themes.wordpress.net for you to peruse. Try to find some that are SE-friendly, nice looking, and easy for you to modify for your specific purposes. Being an affiliate, unless you're at the top, is all about working hard and picking up quarters. The more you pick up the more money you have. Personally I think if that's your attitude you are better off looking for another job.
For those who are prepared to work hard here's some advice from a clueless idiot.
Often the solution to "Need to earn more money." Is not always "Need more traffic." Sometimes it's convert more of what you already have. For instance if you're converting 1-500 and need to double your sign ups it might be easier to convert 1 of the 499 who are moving on than get another 500.
How you do this is by looking at who you send traffic to, what you're giving them to go there, how you're getting them and why 99.8% of your traffic is not getting the message. They're not all looking for free porn, there are 100s of better places to get free porn today than paysite tours. These are people going to tours and not signing up. 1 in 499 needs to be got through to to double your sales.
The simple way to do that is to think like a surfer and send traffic to sites that satisfy their needs.Comment
