He's not an asshole. You should read the story again. The image PRE-dates the attack. The PREfix PRE means BEFORE. He made it before the attack. He's very clearly explained what the image means, and it has nothing to do with killing people or terrorism.Originally posted by eRock:

Guys, it's not like he planned this to happen. There was a reason for the original image, that has nothing to do with terrorism, and the reason remains true. Perhaps he does look to make an extra dollar, but it's not like he planned it...

But it's a piss off to him, either way... he probably realizes people will get upset at the fact that he is even considering to keep the cover, but he wants to keep the cover for the original reasons that it was created for, 2 months beforehand... I guess now, it's easy to look at it and say it's either 1. make a few bucks from the publicity 2. be respectful in that you know most people will associate the image with the terrorism, and change it. But there may be more to it than that.
I would personally change the cover, since I know what most people's reaction to this will be...

It should just be changed out of respect to the people who lost their lives. He could change the cover to something completely different & still get his point across. I believe he now wants to keep it for the publicity. He's already starting to get it from that cover....Comment
