I heard about this type of thing about 15 or so years ago. The guy who did it lived in a neighboring state and if I remember right or partially anyways, when the goverment found out they did something shady about it, what I cant remember. Can you imagine the impact this would have if everyone could stop using fuel.

You can pour water into the carb on any gasoline engine and it will continue to run. In fact, it's a common trick used by mechanics to clear out carbon deposits in the carb and on the valves. Ask any mechanic that has experience with pre-fuel injection cars and they'll verify it.
I have no doubt that eventually someone will figure out an econimical way to run a car on water or some other free substance, but it sure as hell isn't going to be done with a standard gasoline combustion engine. Those guys are full of shit. I mean come on, the "True science comes from God" line didn't tip you off?
I mean sure, Perry Ferrel adds a truckload of credability to the whole thing, but those guys aren't do anything different from a street magician. They show you what they want you to see, and leave a whole bunch of other shit out and tell you it's magic.Comment

Well the video was pretty much a joke no doubt. The science they were trying to talk about isn't. Bush is visiting manufacturing facilities that produce Hydrogen Fuel Cell based cars in an effort to push the concept. That of course would be his second purpose. Agree somewhat but using hydrogen fuel doesn't do the big bang one would expect. Hydrogen burns FAST.
Anyway, from years and years of experience regarding these alternate energy guys I can tell you they either have a great invention and are crazier than two flies in wolverine shit or they have all the glitz and glamour and marketing saavy and an invention that's fulla more shit than a constipated elephant.
Don't expect any miracles regarding alternate energy anytime soon.

Hydrogen tanks are loads safer than the gasoline we use today - and it burns so quickly that temperatures affecting occupants of the car would hardly be noticable - as long as normal safety procedures are used its actually way safer than gasoline.
