Totally agree! They can't be trusted with shit without 99 sub-clauses, why's and wherefor's and also don't even trust em with any volumes of money. They exist to be used and abused - nicely.

My mom deposited a $7,000 check at one bank (Compass) and they put a ten day hold on it. She deposited a $20,000 check at Wachovia and she could write checks on it that day.

I just opened an account at Wachovia, too.

you are all lucky you are in the U.S.. in canada we have 4 banks and they all suck.. and if they give you problams . the most you can do is change branch ..

Wachovia rules.
Their fees are a bit steep but they're fast and efficient.

BoA also seem to randomly pass on a portion of CCBill wire transfer charges to the recipient bank from time to time. Sometimes my wires cost me $47 instead of $30
