Since the biblical description of the borders of the land of Israel does not mention a Mexican location, I doubt that the Jews will go for it.

Do you watch the TV show Big Bang Theory? One of the guys had this exact same idea in an episode a few weeks back.

Of course every Jew he approached said it was a terrible idea because Mexico is not the holy land.

Mexico needs money. Mexico sells a portion of it's land to Isreal. Isreal can afford it and Mexico needs the money. This hits 2 birds with 1 stone. Once New Isreal is founded the Mexicans can learn from the Isreali's get more jobs.

On top of that New Isreal would be a perfect deterrant for the more militant nations of South America. This plan would make peace in the middle east, solidify future defense networks in the America's, provide Economic growth to the South American Hemisphere!

John Stewart already suggested that to an extent, sorry but you can't claim to have invented Middle East peace..

"New Isreal" can be called "New Jericho" then it's not technically Isreal anymore!
Isreali's can choose to move to New Jericho rather than face the fighting in Isreal!

There is New Mexico, Mexico and finally "New Jericho" it's a perfect match! and to boot Mexican's do not look to different than Dirty Arabs, the land is simular in most respects! SO what Cactus is not so common in the Middle East but hey they are pretty arent they?

The only Culture shock would be Mexicans crossing the border not to blow them up on suicide missions but to work virtually for free! What kind of Jew does not like "Free" Labor?

But that would mean there would have to be Israel then New Israel, it wouldn't solve anything Israel would still be there. But if it wasn't I'd be all for your idea!
