"The shadow magus" sais:
Hello, I am 18 caucasian male and I first smoked up when I was 16 years old. I had a *massive* panic attack and could not calm down until the affects of marijuana wore off (I'd smoked an entire gram of 'kind bud' through a home made bowl). The high lasted over 2 hours and I couldn't even move or think about anything. I was literally vegetative.

My friend also smoked up and experienced this panic attack for the entire duration he was stoned (he was in school and had smoked a joint)

Despite my trauma I continued to smoke up. I seemed to be more sensitive than other people to pot, and after a few hits of high grade leaves I would start to feel the affects, and noone would believe me when I said I was already feeing the affects vividly.

I have continued to experience these panic attacks, but they only seem to last for 5-15 minutes after which I zone out and come down a bit. I don't like them, I always feel like I'm dying or breaking down.

The other day I thought of something. Both me and my friend have been diagnosed with ADD, have been on Riddilin. I am also a suffering of depression. I was wondering if any of these had to do with my panic attacks?

Also, I would really like to know what causes them, ande what can help me through them so I can enjoy the affects of cannibus without having to worry about getting freaked out.

Thanks.

Well i got the EXACT same feelings until one day my dad told me that im a fuking moron for panicing and its all in my head....(i have ADHD and used to take ridalin) so... all u gotta do is get stoned and just ignore the panic-feeling because u can be having a good time just by believing that ur ok...

If this sounds dumb its not and it worked for me

Well shit! There ya go - problem solved.
