I just want to say that I think its ridiculous the way some of the webmasters are sucking on the Hun's dick and kissing ass like its going out of style.
The Hun started out just like everyone else did and it was only a matter of time before traffic started rolling in. Anyone can do this if they stick around and work hard enough at it. A couple hundred bucks can also buy you a listing in some search engines.
I read a post by the Hun earlier stating how he had been around for 8 years. Big Whoop. He doesn't even really have a website. He has a link site, therefore he is relying on webmasters to post their galleries so he can continue to get traffic.
The times I have even bothered to visit thehun.com its always the same shitty newbie galleries. Newbies trying to make a quick buck by submitting to the almighty TGP. Whatever. Anyone can start a TGP and freeload traffic off of newbies.
Personally I wouldn't want to submit anything to the Hun, because his site is straight up shitty. Its just a bunch of links and banners and that ugly yellow background. You could at least change the layout of your pages. Use tables or something. Maybe you are too busy preaching your morals to do something like actually make a website that looks good.
The first time I was going to submit to the Hun I changed my mind after reading all that BS on the submit page. This is the porn business, morals don't belong here. Good business and morals don't always go hand in hand.
About the only thing I agree on is the pop-up situation. 1 or 2 is okay, but 4 or 5 is a little overboard. Still, people can turn off java script and stuff like that.
Also, its not only porn sites that use pop-ups on exit and entry, its about 99% of websites on the Internet, so get off of it already.
I just clicked on a LolitaSex.com banner (vertical one) on your webpage [hun.com] and I got 6 fucking pop-ups! Not, 2, or 1, but 6! Can you say "Hypocrite", Mr. Hun? Are you going to stop advertising that site now? Drop the people at LolitaSex an e-mail preaching to them? Maybe you will just make an excuse and say you didn't know. Yeah, right. If any webmaster doesn't know they are advertising, then its time for him/her to go back to flipping burgers.
I also read another post by the Hun...something about free sites not being as good as pays sites, because they don't have streams and shit like that. I think that is totally false. Streams don't mean a thing. Most people are too cheap to pay for the highspeed connection it takes to fully enjoy stuff like that anyway. Also, look at your web site. Its free, right? If you can get traffic and bookmarks, then anyone can.
Fuck, I'm so tired from working on my sites all night that I have forgotten what else I wanted to say. Oh well. One thing to all webmasters: If you work hard enough and stay in the game long enough traffic and sales will come.
People like the Hun get the big head when they make it "big". They like to start thinking that their opinion actually matters. Ask the Hun how much of his traffic actually comes back or stays on his site for more than 5 seconds?
The only reason I even knew that hun.com even existed is that we use counters by the same company.
Just make your sites look good, don't kill visitors with pop-ups and blind links and you will be okay.
Most important: Don't depend on guys like the Hun to send you traffic in hopes of sales. TGP traffic is the worst converting traffic on the Web!
Unless you just throw up a bunch of per-click banners you won't really make anything by submitting to TGP's. People go to TGPs for free pics, not to buy them.
