    who's a real SEO guru here?

    looking for someone who really knows his (or her) way around search engines for a paid consultation. who do you recommend - and why?

      im about to go to sleep... so i can't really write an explanation why

      but i would suggest looking into either WiredGuy or XXXJay

      be ready to pay a pretty penny though

                                          I know my way around it but not really taking on consulting. Have a few sites top 10 for 1 keyword phrases in competitive industries. If it's just a quesiton or two, hit me up and I'll just tell you what I think. Long term I can point you in the direction of some well known SEOs.
