You're getting taken. Companies are all over the net that setup LLCs, Incs and whatevers for anywhere from $99 to $500 for the deluxe super dupper package depending on state and such.
Why use a lawyer for that anyway? Its kinda like using a lawyer to write a letter to your landlord asking for him to waive a late fee. Its overkill, IMHO.Comment

I've paid as high as 3k+ for an Inc. in another tax friendly state with 'nominees' etc, bank setup the works, prior to 9/11...
after that, since privacy etc is gone in the US, I go for the easy 300 buck packages out of DE...anything higher than 300-500 is a 'jack worthy' situation...
