if iraq controlled the oil in the middle east we'd be fucked. you think we pay alot for a gallon of gas now. the oil companies are funding most of the war and we're paying them back one gallon at a time.
you can't believe alot of what you see on tv, the large news networks are owned by companies like GE which happens to be a primary defense contractor.
we'll never pull out of the middle east...we're just digging in.

Agreed. It is all about the oil. Most important, it is all about keeping the US Dollar as the default currency for buying and selling Oil.
If the EURO becomes the "Oil Currency", everyone in the USA can say hello to 3rd world status, with all the debt the US Goverment has acrued printing out useless paper and increasing debt.
