New design critique/Which header looks better

MrPinks, I prefer the second one. The style of the font goes well with 'Pinks' and I also like how the curves of the P and K are outside the 'box' of the cloud header. Did you just want to keep it low toned or why didn't you put like a picture of a hot girl in your headers?

I might go with an angel girl I have. Most people are saying the first text is clearer. I like them both. Still not sure.

Good job on the header. There are only a couple of comments from a layout point of view.

1) There should be a weighted balance in any layout unless specifically intending for that effect. Although the logo is horizontally aligned with the angel, the two graphics cause a heavier weight to the left. Unless you are going to place more elements above and below the logo that are right aligned, you can simply resize the logo to restore weighted balance [see sample link below].

2) Also you need to think of the elements in the layout and how they play off one another to create a more dynamic setting. First, the angel is surprised and looking right. Add transparency to the logo and overlap her wing with part of the logo. This way the logo looks like it is moving her out of the way and barging through to be up front of your website. Now although the logo IS NOT horizontally aligned, balance is achieved by aligning the eyes of the angel to a main focal point... in this case, the center of the halo on "P".

Hope this helps and no disrespect meant by hacking your image.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Much different from some of the feedback I am receiving on the other thread in the other section of GFY. I see what you mean with the balance. I could make the font bigger and go from there.

I like the top one the best. Reason being is because the 2nd one is more square like with the clouds. If you could modify it and make it up to the top it will look much much better
