That depends on what you consider the Porn Biz?
I started bouncing in strip clubs when I was 16 in Central Florida. I did that while I was in the Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune too and started driving escorts when I was 19. That was the first time I ever helped out at a content shoot. So...if you count from the strip clubs as "adult", 12+ years, first content shoot to now...almost 10 years.
Online only? 5 years.

Lets see - my first BBS opened in 1988, but didnt start getting scans up until 89/90 timeframe - then opened Post BBS, when we went big time with mag scans, and wired in some multi lines - started charging for access about that time so I guess 90 would be the right timeframe for "Biz". Got access for users to the net around 95 or so for email and Fido access as well as purchasing domains for "future use" about that time. Went full time inet with graphics in 96 but still ahd the old gopher and other fun things to play with on there.
Kinda took a sabbatical from 97 till about 2000 after some other players got into some hot water - but came back totally in 2000 with linksites and free stuff as well as getting into the old SEs. Since then its been all downhill
