    Who's got an XBox 360?

    I was planning to buy one today with 4 games, went to the shop ... then a guy comes to me while i was looking at them and he asks me: "are you planning to buy one? Don't. I had to get it back to the store and get a replacement 3 times". Then i ask to a sale guy in the store and he told me not to buy one, they are overheating and you can't play more than 3 hours. You should wait for the PS3 ...

          But i guess there will be bugs with the PS3 too so that means i'll have to wait 2007 before buying... Sucks because I prefer XBox games.

              Not all of them overheat. Yes some have problems but you can get it replaced from M$ if you have too for free. It is a hell of a system for sure.

                      Well, i'm usually not lucky with these kind of things when i buy a product so i probably shouldn't buy it. However i heard there is an extrenal cooling system for sale on amazon, it's a shame they don't include this in the box if they know there are some issues.
                      Damn ... i couldn't wait to play Amped 3 with my GF.

                              All of my friends who got one haven't had a problem. Plus microsoft will take care of it if anything should occur, and it'll be more than worth the hassle. It's a great system and xbox live is the shit.

                                              Mine has frozen twice or so in 5 months however I'm not on it very often. It's a great system with some hot games coming out all the time.

                                                          i have a 360
                                                          and a few of us were playing Project Gotham Racing 3 for about 12 hours not a problem

                                                          there is a small software error with the 360 but you can download a patch which clears it straight up

                                                          my mate is now in top 100 of the world on PGR3 for xbox live

                                                                      Gave my kids one for xmas and never had any problems, Games are awesome, so much that old daddy here even got hooked on one of them and has been known to take a few all nighters playing call of duty 2 on xbox live *lol*

                                                                          um depends what gen of xbox360 u got the 1st gen is crap my friend got another 2nd gen 360 and we pay it for 10 hours at teh time no problem but it is loud when the game spins my suggestion if u really want to get 360 wait for the 3rd gen somwhere near the launch of ps3 or just get ps3.

                                                                                  your best bet might be to buy the 360 with a good warrenty, supposivly the ps3 is supposed to have better graphics, but im also a xbox fan

                                                                                          I was playing GRAW on xboxlive the other night...one of the guys I was playing against was saying that MS is dropping the price down by $200 in Oct to compete with the PS3 delivery in Nov....have no idea if this is true or not.

                                                                                              Anything in stores now would be a newer model. some still have probs though. Just buy it , it is well worth the risk
