ASK them to put it on, I just had one YESTERDAY and have been ordering them that way for a couple years now. don't forget to say ONLY big mac sauce AND lettuce AND pickle if you want a pickle because mac sauce and ketchup will make you PUKE! I sometimes order double cheeseburgers with ONLY ketchup, there's this thing where they make your burgers however you want them...
Seriously I thought everybody knew about the $1 big mac's. I've tried it at like 20+ locations from Michigan clear to Florida. Nobody has ever said anything about it. Who wants to pay a bunch extra for a little extra bun?
Maybe take your third double cheeseburger and put 1 patty and 1 bun on each of those other 2 double cheeseburgers and what you get is 2 big macs with 2 extra patties all for the same price as 2 big macs....
