i think the city does it or the place that i live in does it for us. i don't do it myself personally (separate recycables from trash), i just throw it all in the trash. i'm pretty sure my building does it for us tho.Comment

Your building goes through your garbage to find recyclables? Why would they do that? Also, I can see that being a huge privacy concern.
