Script that remains on the Task bar after visit...

Hi everyone !

Does anybody knows the name of the script, which remains in a surfer's TASKBAR even after the site is closed and can pop up new windows ?
Anybody knows where is possible to get it ?

The delayd popup script is about 1 year old and not very popular, guess no tgp sites will accept your postings.

But, I must agree with the general concensus here... those kinds of scripts will piss off more surfers than generate sales. When I see those fuckin' things sitting in my taskbar, I pop Task Manager and kill everything associated to it. My guess is that porn surfers aren't stupid and do the same thing.

I'm still looking for a script that prevents the surfer from shutting the machine off while simultaneously connecting to their bank accounts and initiates transfer of funds.

A couple of years ago I did a corporate website for a telephony technology company and set up their site (per the CEO's request) so that it was impossible to leave it no matter what you did.... new address in the bar, Favorites link... closing the window... didn't matter. There was literally no way to leave that site outside of turning the machine off.

Never ever again.... that was hands down the most fucked up thing I ever did to a site.

sometimes during my surfing I see some supid sites, then I close them, then minimized pop-up appears without any way to close it. Only to Ctrl+Alt+Del.
If I ever get my hands in such webmaster i'll rip his fucking spine out.

DarkJedi, it depends on how to use the script and which script to use ..
This script is not that ugly ..
It can be closed simply by right mouse button ..
In your case (when no way out except ctrl+alt+del helps) I'd kill the webmaster too. Today was in that situation ..

What you are looking for is called "spawning". You won't find it
on any javascript site and I won't pass on that kind of thing
for free. And if you offered to pay I would encrypt it and charge
you an arm and a leg.
If you want it that bad bang around in Google and maybe you'll
find something close but spawning is an art and code like that is
not passed around much.

I have a script here that will pop a window/console, maintain forced focus, and absolutely cannot be closed until the user clicks on the link of your choosing. Well, it can be closed, but just keeps popping until they click your preset link.

I should also say that I do not use this script anywhere at present. It's just sitting here in my bag of tricks... (cuz ya never know) It would be good for something like a terms agreement window or something.

Ohhhh GOD do I hate that script!! Some even have it so you can't delete it either. You right-click on it and click "close" and nothing happens, but if you leave it and continue working you get a popup every few minutes. The only way I can figure to get rid of it is do a ctrl-alt-delete, but that also closes other browsers that I want to remain open.

FUCK!!!

I blacklist anyone using that shit script, and if any of my trades start using it they are gone in 16 seconds. Sorry blu, but I am just right sick of people using dirty fucked up underhanded annoying bullshit scripts and tricks to fuck over surfers just to make a quick buck. As babagirls is fond of saying....grrrrrrr

Blu, the script you are talking about is marked down as "blacklist on sight" here, and I suspect that I'm not alone on that. I get the feeling you're gonna do what you're gonna do regardless, so all I can say is good luck. Don't come crying back here when no one wants to trade with you though.

I have another program here that doesn't really do anything useful, but it will corrupt all the data of your choosing, then throw your cpu into an infinite binary loop until smoke comes out of the case.

Let me know if anyone needs this.

I want find script, I see one that is in emails, where person opens up email is is auto-connect to dialer, yet they do not know it. They delete the email to the deleted items bin yet still they connected always.

Anyone know of script like that? I vant use it in my mailing list, of which I have 40k of opted members and another 200k of bot-harvested memembers

I think it should be a simple thing, just popup a window positioned out of the normal viewing resolution (example 2000, 2000, or -2000,-2000) and let it popup windows every n minutes using javascript.

I got curious one day and whipped up one of these things... which popped another one when closed and one when opened. Then linked them all to pop each other if they were closed and stacked the code on top of itself 4 times over in each one for different URLs. I had a really bad feeling about it...

When I ran it the first time... they just kept on popping. They got out of control after about 10 seconds and I had a hundred consoles up and they were still trying to pop more. I couldn't ctrl-w fast enough. The more I shut down, the more they popped, until the virtual memory crashed. I had to pull the plug on the machine.

By the way, I saw one script on the kinda site, that moved the opened window from the mouse cursor when you wanted to close it

As faster I was moving the cursor - faster the window was flying over the screen
And damn - ALT+F4 and CTRL+W DID NOT WORK !

It was very funny, though I was forced to turn off the machine ..
But I am not angry for that ..
