    Who Does VOD? Fire Away Ladies

    I'm thinking about taking some of our content, and putting it on a VOD platform....

    I am not that familiar with VOD as I have never promoted it in my affiliate days, and never watched it. So... what is out there for something like that? Does it work like cams, or you just install some software on your server, and tada?

                      One thing that came up in the past when people contacted me about this stuff. I am not looking to license anything to anyone for 25% take. So if that is the offer, you can forgo contacting me.

                      One of the companies, who's name escapes me, but was doing porn TV or some shit (now out of business) wanted to have some kind of license where they would get some kind of ownership, and with their VOD or TV service, would give something like 25% of the profits.

                      That was 3-4 years ago now. Have not paid much attention since. But keep the info coming all. I'm sure there are a few different ways to monetize it.

                                      Yeah... a 25% (or less) take, and long term licensing is really of no interest to me. I can set it up on a smaller scale, and integrate it into my site(s) as an add on to go with my C4S, membership, DVD etc.

                                      Milking it every which way. Extra money is on thing, but it has to be a decent split to really be of any interest to me.

                                      I have my own mini network of traffic, and sites that keeps my website conversions in the 1:6, and 1:7 (over all sites) range over the past 3-4 years. No guarantee that a VOD is going to make me that much more (at 25%) than a closed, good network can.

                                                  Add your content (25% for studio sales), create a WL with your brand (worth 2% let's say for branding), put it in your members area (25% as a webmaster) and link directly to your content. No other content, studio name or brand on the site.

                                                  Already making 52%.

                                                                          I've been turned off by the LOW percentage offered from VOD sites for my content too. I have followed pretty much the same path you have with c4s stores and my own network of sites. The only decent % split I've come across from a VOD site is watchme.com Here is a link to our profile there: http://www.watchme.com/affiliate/ref...llJaxx&id=3119 (yes, I put in my aff code for the surfer/lurkers to use) They pay out 60%, instead of just 20% like the others. I have used them for almost 2 years now and draw my money out every month.
