DrunkSlut...how's it working without the trial?

I know a lot of people in here promote that program. I've been doing well with it too, but just curious if anyone has some hard numbers on how the new "no trial" version is working?

Overall sales are up 8%, who would have thought??? Except for today, but Ibill had a scheduled 2hr outage...

Plus, the rebill value should be much better, because it gives them a month to forget to cancel!

No trial sites should have a definite edge when it comes to rebilling customers, regardless of the forget to cancel issue

And before you make the faces, give it a month and see how it does -- if it's a partnership program your overall income should increase --

I sometimes think this industry was built on the "forget to cancel" economics formula. I remember talking to a paysite owner and i was going through his members section and a couple live feed links no longer worked. I pointed it out to him and he said, we dont update it, we just count on the customers to forget to cancel. LOL

I run a similar site as the one previously mentioned and have also recently dropped my trial. (going on 6 weeks) Yes you will see fewer signups but more cash!, my 50/50 partners thank me too. I can rant longer on why a "Trial Membership" is a bad idea, BUT since this is my first post I'll save it for later.

OK, fair enough. I've stated in the past that I'm NOT a fan of partnership programs that have a trial. I like the site itself, and did really well with it in August, but Septembers numbers to date (since the inception of the new pricing model) look like this:
TOTALS 1212 1 1212:1
and August looked like this:
TOTALS 11308 43 263:1

I just had some custom content shot to promote the site, and certainly plan to keep doing so, I was just a little taken back by the "off the cliff" behavior of the numbers and wanted to get a reading from the rest of you on it.

I have only been pushing them for a week so I don't have any experiences with them with the trial but so far this week I am 15:4095 || 1:273 with strictly (so called) crappy TGP traffic. I can't wait 'til next month to see how the re-bills are.

OK, we've been testing this for a week. Signups are 90% of what they were a week ago (if we backout the new webmasters which would make it actually higher).

Also, remember, we pop a trial offer if they don't take the full.

The no trial thing works, we are going to be testing some different (higher) price points now. We are also adding an option for webmasters that want to sell only a trial can change their linkng code for that. (we think your nuts, but a couple of you above seem to want it)

I LIKE no-trial recurring programs...just watch that pricepoint. I'm betting real money that you guys are up near the acceptable level for the casual surfer who says...wtf it's only $24.95. Get higher, and they may start thinking twice...it's a psychological thing. 20 bucks is almost meaningless when he's got his dick in his hands, but push that limit and the remorse factor goes up.

I had a major sponsor I work closely with go through a range and settled on $19.95 with no trial. Works like gangbusters, 50/50 recurring, and I've got rebills up the ying yang every month...I'm loving it.

Anyway, just relating my personal experiences. I hope to be collecting that cash from DS for a long time.

I'll have to try the new program... I only sent a few signups to drunksluts but it was some nice money even still... If I remember correctly I had more than a couple chargebacks/revokes/etc... My logic was that the mentality of the guy that likes "drunksluts" -- he's sortof a younger guy -- "immature" -- maybe even sneaky... This is generally speaking of course -- but think about it -- if you're selling a lock picking kit -- there's a good chance that you will have a lot of chargebacks -- or maybe I am just sick and perverted -- but is a drunkslut a slut before she's drunk? ehehe...

Anyway another thing I noticed -- and this is true w/ any partnership program -- you guys are throwing out conversion rations but it really depends on how you are sending traffic -- ie: a banner or a thumb or whatever... I was using a banner off the partnership cash site and I was pulling ok -- then I tried one of the animated images off the drunkslut site and that ad pulled about 4x better but the conversions weren't as good -- so I'm sure there's some kind of magic ad that will pull just the $$$ and not my hard earned traffic ;)
