Be nice - don't pressure her right away. Have a couple of conversations thru IM or email. Ask her about what kinds of things she likes - restaurants, bars, live music . . . what she does for a living, what she's looking for in a guy. If everything goes well then tell her you'd like to meet her for a drink or dinner - somewhere public.
