Be nice - don't pressure her right away. Have a couple of conversations thru IM or email. Ask her about what kinds of things she likes - restaurants, bars, live music . . . what she does for a living, what she's looking for in a guy. Actually, here in Texas they do. There's one that's called something like "It's Just Lunch" - it's run by women, they bring you in for an interview, pictures, and a video I think. Then they try to match you with someone they think would worl well with you and you go on a lunch date or something.
