Why do people put affiliate reps on pedestals?

            With all due respect, I don't have the time in the day anymore to deal with you. You target me and Weg in veiled ways on a consistent level, including but not limited to your "stripper post." And as of late, you have had no problem being very candid with your anger. It is a bit obsessive at this particular juncture.


            I have given you every opportunity to lay off me and to relax on bringing up the Weg name, you have unfortunately declined. If you never said a word about our company or me, you would hardly see me post in your threads (and certainly I wouldn't reference you). Heck, you still carry me in your signature on another board. Can the same be said about me? I could care less to try and make you look bad.

            I simply brush you off the plate to use a baseball analogy. So, this is yet another opportunity for you to lay off. Rest assured, you would never hear from me again.

            It just seems so very simple to me. Sometimes as adults we just need to move on from situations. Ball is, as it has been all along, in your court. From the sound of things you are super busy, so this just seems to be the perfect scenario for you to focus on all your projects.

It's not all about you, it's certainly not all about WEG (I love how you constantly stick WEG in when it's convenient to make it look like someone's attacking the company, and not you as a person), it's not about your girlfriend that you somehow created in your mind I attacked, it's not about the imaginary emails, the imaginary times in person nor the imaginary time in Phoenix you told me you weren't my friend.

                        This was about affiliate reps. I was an affiliate rep. I responded regarding my experience as an affiliate rep. Period.

                        I can assure you I manage my time quite well. I manage to study, take tests and do deals WHILE I make posts about something that I am familiar with. Pretty much like you're able to do your job and do your personal stuff too.

                        To again quote someone a lot smarter than me when you went on another one of your paranoid "It's all about me" rants: Dude, you're getting cranky in your old age... Or at least you're assuming things are directed at you when they're really not.

                            Affiliate reps come in so many different packages these days, much like everyone else that works in this biz. When you find a good rep, you should stick with them as they are few and far between.

                            I find that the work ethics in this industry mirror those of other industries. For the most part people in general put the workload off on others. But every once in a while you will find a great person who is highly motivated and can see the 'big picture', which is always the key to success.

                            You are definitely a 'big picture' guy.

                                I saw a recent post here where someone said there would be a 30 test period. And I know someone else is looking for a rep and they have stated there will be a 90 probationary period. So no, your post isn't stupid, just written oddly

                                                                        Cool, i remember when i was 16 and working at dunkin donuts and we had a laid back manager. I didnt do any work because i knew she woudnt do shit about it. Store was losing $ becaue we didnt care how we made the food and customers almost never came back.

                                                                        Then a new manager came and started firing a single person every month who was least performer and hired a new one. I worked my ass off because i knew i might get fired. He also rewarded the person who worked the hardest, so he wasnt that big of an asshole. I fucked hated him back then but now i understand that he did it for the company.

OR unless they do other things besides JUST Affiliate Rep. The horrible thing with this industry is that people tend to think that a Rep should ONLY need to post on the boards, so that should make a good rep, but that isn't all they, or at least not all *I* do. I am many different things when I take on a "Rep" job. The better paid reps don't ONLY do support and such, they manage traffic, they open and close deals (or at least talk them thru up to the point it is time to bring the checkbook in), and many many other things.

                                                                                                                                                            If you want a board whore, hire yourself a board whore, those are cheap as hell and that's about one of the easiest jobs there are to do. BUT if you want a Rep, make sure you find one that can handle several different things at one time other than just emails and talking on the boards. That's not a Rep, that's a Support Board Whore. A REP can handle MANY different tasks and handle them well. Or at least in my head... A rep REPRESENTS, not post on boards to get attention. lol

                                                                                                                                                                        You would be surprised how many page me and ask me if we are hiring Reps and when I talk to them for all of 5 minutes, everything that comes out of their fingertips is all about how good they are as an Afiliate Rep only to find out they are board whores and think that somehow makes them a Rep for a company. They should just ask me "Can I be your board whore" that would cut to it alot faster. LMAO

You've pointed to threads discussing a program I own in these. And you're still missing the point: putting more importance in affiliate MANAGERS, who are hired for pennies, than they deserve.
