If they just give the delegates to Clinton without a re-vote they will hand the white house to McCain because there are a lot of Obama supporters who will feel he got screwed and won't vote for Hilary. they won't vote McCain either, they just won't vote and that will cost her big time.

The only way they could do it and maybe make it partially okay is if they cut a deal with Obama and he accepted the vice presidential spot on the ticket if they do that he can still bring in his supporters and the black vote. If not, they will probably turn their back on the part the democrats will have found yet another new and interesting way to lose an election.
