I worked two years operating machinery on a tie gang. It was the BEST job I have ever had. I seriously LOVED the tie gang, and I am sitting right now seriously considering going back if I can find an operators position again. though I think i can understand what you're saying. They sent me a brand new Nordco CX Spiker and a rep from the company to work with me for a week. When he saw that i knew all the mechanics of the machine already he was in total shock. So i got him baked and he explained all the electronics and diagnostics of the machine to me. He told me that on the american crews he would nailpolish overtop of all the electronic settings in the panel so the mexicans wouldn't be able to find them...
