If you're not using password protection...

I know this is not new, it has happened since the 1st adult site, but day after day there are more passwords sites, forums, Efnet channels, etc and more smart surfers trading passwords on there.
I've entered some Efnet channels and I found SERVERS (some kind of irc script) where you you type the site name and in a few seconds you get a password for that site. There were some pissed guys, like they haven't found what they were looking for, so I've asked them things like 'hey dude have you tried joining the site?? ' and in 90% of the cases I received answers like 'I've tried, but it won't accept my credit card'.
So, I think password protection is a must. Maybe you have a 100k monthly income and you don't care but this fuckers can melt your servers using getright, teleport pro, etc.
About their replies, what do you think about cascade billing? Does it worth?
    Post your opinion.

I'm talking about fraud and hackers protection, I've heard about strongbox and proxypass.
There should be something that detects the same password being used with 2 or more diffrerent ips.

oh , i get ya , most paysites use software like that , you have to guage combatting fraud with pissing off your customers..

If i signed up to a paysite from work and came home and couldnt get in i would chargeback right.. so 2 is a little unreslistic..

password sites now share proxies along with the passwords to get around this anyways theres better methods like limiting bandwidth/files or having properly setup members areas

Most password sites i have visted, have a lot of working passes.

I noticed adult elite asks for some pin info on their members login page. I wonder how effective this method is

can you be at work downloading a movie and at home doing the same at the same time? Btw, I know about proxies, but 90% of passwords are traded without them.
Limiting bandwith is a good solution

I'm not sure, I've seen sites where the pin is requested after the login/pass? Maybe it puts the ip in a log file or something.
