that writers strike is really showing now...rehashing old ass movies like indiana jones.... countless superhero movies... now they start making movies about superheroes the majority of the world never heard of before. Ok spiderman, i can understand, he is known throughout the world. But Iron Man? Never heard of him before. But i will be checking it out, ive read positive things about it already.

Iron Man is one of the few comics I read...I didn't really care for them, but Iron Man was always one of my favorites...
The movie was really good. I was expecting, and got, the usual flashy effects, but there was also a great story and the acting was really good, especially for a comic book adaptation...
Hollywood has always had adaptations and rehashes...a lot of "classic" movies were derived from other sources...Comment
