ok still a few around. A lot of AVS sites shut down years ago. Due to credit card processing and laws claiming there was no age verification with a card.
And processing for other sites etc. I used to run an AVS script (verifier) I could probably dig it up if i went thru some old archives. But just looking at options for other sites. Interested in AVS sites that want more than a few galleries or accept larger site. Eg: the old adultcheck goldComment

i will see if i can find an old list of old AVS sites from 90's and see what became what. I remember agecheck becoming cyberage. And avs.com with the official gov warning shutting them down.Comment

Hey all,
My name is Dwayne, and I work for Sexkey.com, and Mansites.com. These two websites are still alive and paying our webmasters twice a month. We have beenn in the industry since 1997, and plan on being around for many years to come. We took a proactive approach to the new Credit Card company demands, and are absolutely compliant.

As others have said, the biggest difference you will see is on the traffic front. For some reason the established AVS webmasters have a tendency to be almost dismissive about that change, but it is huge.
If you were used to your listings getting hundreds of visitors in the past, now you will now be lucky to see low double-digits. Which means that while paying the same commission to the AVS operator as in the past, you not only need to drive your own traffic to make initial sales, but upsells will suck even if you do that. In most cases, rules on upsells have got tighter even when the AVS operator started pushing his own upsells harder, but the main factor is the reduced volume of internal traffic diluted between so many more sites.
If you check the new lists of the remaining "traditional" AVS programs, it isn't hard to spot that they are dominated by 3 or 4 webmasters submitting new sites every day and that without them, some lists would be empty. This has been going on for 5+ years, locking AVS standards into the 90's and making it practically impossible for a newcomer (or returnee) to earn anything much other than new sales from his own traffic.
Given all that, if you really want to handle content, the newer video-AEN programs, such as DeluxePass, are a much better bet. They provide you hosting and content for free, while at the same time paying the same kind of commission. Their product is more in tune with the current market, so since AVS prices have gone up, it is arguably easier to sell. You won't make anything on upsells (there are none), but any loss there is marginal nowadays anyway. Rebills are not quite as good as AVS sites enjoyed in their heyday, but close and certainly a lot better than just about anything else around. And the final advantage is that most have built-in affiliate programs, so you might be able to get yourself a few affiliates and earn some extra dollars that way too.Comment

Yeah, Jayeff is one of my top 3 favorite posters. He had some kick ass SEO posts back in th day when AVS Lounge was around. I was J. Will over there by the way.
Cyber Sex Network & Net Verifier are the two best IMHO when it comes to protecting your site and getting a good payout. The retention is about the same all around now... but as Jayeff said, it's still better than most regular sponsors.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

a sure income on a regulary basis without the hassle of building up each day severals mini avs sites...
I also tried other avs systems f.i. goldxpass which converted 42000:0 !
Cyberage: just a gold site there, which still sells
Universalpass: even no member views on sites !Comment

Quite possible. But i know they're huge, and i wonder are they just lacking staff or not caring. I think it's not caring when you get to that sizeOriginally posted by bobby666they have great content but their support is awful:

I used to do crazy upsells and crazy rebills. I use to take summers off and live off the rebills.

I made neat cash with AdultCheck. Man, those were the days...
Each site I had made approx 5000-6000 dollars per month and I had quite a few.
Clement from Deluxe Pass is a good guy but very slow.
I've been waiting for content for approx 6-7 months now.Comment
