    Ebay - is there a way to get rid of neg feedback?

    i sold my motorcycle, and specified that i would not ship it and would do local pickup. so someone does buy it now the first day and wants me to ship it. so i said i would but now she wants me to send her the title now before i get $ and is being a pain in the ass, which is the reason i didnt want to ship it.

    if i dont sell to her and she gets pissed and leaves me negative feedback can i get rid of it since she violated my terms on not picking up the bike and also not paying within 7 days? i have other people interested.

          I don't think you can get rid of negative feedback, but I beleive you are given the opportunity to post a response. So if people actually read the feedback, it can be put in a better context. You can write your side of the story.

                  You can remove the negative feedback only if the other party agree to remove it.

                      I'd beat her to the punch and report her as a non paying bidder to ebau and fully explain the situation about her not following your auction terms. I would let them know that she is threatening to leave you negative feedback even though she is the one not wanting to progress with the sale. Ebay will step in and prevent her from leaving the feedback if you beat her to it, make sure you save all emails and anything else that proves she went against the original auction terms.

                              It can be done, but jesus what a fucking headache. documentation after documentation. I agree with HardcoreG.

                              I assume it's all emails back and forth? If so, I'd just file it as a dead beat bidder and make sure to keep all emails as proof that she did not comply with the terms of the sale.

                              there is a chance that they will block her account and/or remove the auction which will prevent any feedback anyway.
