    Why cant i *STILL* not see my Referres??? It has been "Temporaly Down" for like what, 2 weeks or so now??

    I would like to know where my traffic is coming from for christ sakes!!!!!

      Do you make money with them? If not, why don't you use sexlist or sextracker until they are working again. Me I've had thousands and thousands of hits on galleries and not seen even one click to paycounter. hmmmm...

          i do like like over 150k with paycounter on it and still only get like 5 clicks a day,,

          it is kinda of fishy,,, and i don't even put them words like "counter don't click"

          also i noticed that counter is not that accurate,,possibly got something to do with counter not even loading on the page some of the times,,,

          but i tell you what they got the best interface,,,,i like to see running totals of all my sites,,

                  I get sick of cleaning cookies and other BS that sextracker and others load on your terminals from accessing pages they are on.

                              Yes it's frustrating but it's still a kick-ass stats service and it is free.
                              What you might consider is throwing a second counter on you pages.
                              Yes this will provide another leak but only newbies and impulsive types
                              click on counters.

                              Remember it is a counter. The 5¢ is not what we are after using Paycounter.


                              KC has done great things with Paycounter. I noticed the img src for
                              the counter was broken a couple of weeks back. I'm sure most ppl here
                              can all imagine the load that domain carries, and KC's counter has been doing
                              nothing but growing since it started. All the 12-times-a-day stat-checking-webmasters
                              and the shear monstrosorifical humongousness of code+DB has most likely loaded
                              the server/routing and DB.

                              Just imagine the size of the DB. How many writel() changes go on there
                              every minute. So we lost referrers for a bit...hopefully it will be resolved.

                              It's still kick-ass PHP and I'm glad KC and Paycounter showed up on the scene.
                              He is on it I'm sure. In the meantime double-up on your counted pages with
                              a second counter. It's always fun to match the stats on one site with two
                              separate counters.

                                      I sometimes use stats4all.com, the only problem with that is that people can look at your stats. But i dont really give a fuck.
                                      My top 4 converting sponsors are currently :

                                          It's all very annoying... My 300+ gallery pages on SmutServer all have PayCounters. A couple of days ago, the hits suddenly jumped by 40K. Because of the lack of referrer stats, I can't find out whether this increase is due to just a glitch in the PC counting or to listings at some new places.

                                              But I can say they do pay.
                                              I've got a $60 check from them (making $10-15 a month on galleries).

                                                          The problem with a second counter is that it adds to load time and offers another leak for that traffic to escape to.

                                                              I have got totally pissed off with PayCounter, their stats seem very innacurate, and it surely does not take this long to fix the problem.
                                                              I have moved my main site over to Hitbox, they are excellent. Stats are better than Paycounter.

                                                                  yea you could say they are inaccurate, I have a counter up on a page that I took down 1 week ago and the counter has still counted hits everyday. That kinda sucks cause it says my page that is down has gotten more hits this week than one that is actually up.

                                                                                              OK, first of all regarding any inaccuracies over the past week and slow to load counters... We had a bug in our software that has been located and corrected. Images are now very speedy and the counts are as accurate as ever.

                                                                                              Referrers will be back online shortly, we had to disable them temporarily. As soon as a few new servers are installed they will be turned back on. I'm EXTREMELY sorry for the inconvenience and promise we won't let this happen again!

                                                                                              Regarding the guy who's dollar dissappeared, The month just started. Check last month. Your dollar is still there.

                                                                                              I'm sorry to bust into the bash PayCounter thread, but we've been working our asses off since we started. We've been growing extemely fast. Currently counting over 45 million daily uniques, 90 million impressions!!

                                                                                              Anyway, I'm heading back to work.. just wanted to speak up and accept some responsibility and thank those of you that have supported us since day 1.

When the stats dumped for 2 weeks I lost my confidence(for a little while that is). I have been with you for over a year, and will come back once the stats get back up because they are the best stats I have had other than my server stats!

                                                                                                              Personally I use the stats of a secondary counter to follow referrers. They are just nice to follow Hope to see the paycounter referrer stats back up soon, and the hits back to how they should be soon...

                                                                                                                                  I added the paycounter to my site as well, And am yet to see a check, although for 2 months it says I have made money but have not recieved any checks, and then all of a sudden this month I have no hits going to it, Seems a little odd to me, Although every banner or affliate I put on my site to increase income I have never recieved a check from any of them. So Ohh well Whats a Woman to do But, Go Fuck Herself, LOL
