Well, I looked up applicable statues in the CA H&S Code, doesn't really talk about piss tests. Probably because piss tests are a company policy thing.
It does say that just because you have a card does not mean you can get high at work.
However, bareskin, you can get a card, even if on probation or parole. H&S 11362.795. You can thank me later.Comment

I love living in Nor Cal, I don't have to pick!Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

i understand the company policy thing, but who is to say you are "medicating" at work. I could see where mabye private businesses might be able to reject an applicant or terminate an employee. But it seems discriminatory...if they did the same thing to an aids patient because of the medications he took, I'm sure they would get their asses handed to them in court.
