Bullshit ...
I have a "corporate" office and an office in my home and I have clients stop by here all the time at my house. We've signed deals here, had a few beers, BBQ, etc.
To my neighbors - its just my friends stopping over ... little do they know that contracts are getting inked and Statements of work / Builds of Materials for IT projects are getting done and really its not their business anyways.
Ive lived here for 8 years and plan on being here until they carry my dead body out the door in a box. Fuck the neighbors - the bitch is crazy
