Well i have theory,if people search yourdomain.com every day,you will get bigger pr if they search more.That my domain which got pr3 has been exposed a lot so maybe that's way it got pr3.(I have 30 other domains and they are all pr0 or pr1)Also i though maybe something was wrong with google crawler and it will gone after pr update(it happens if domain it's not properly indexed)but pr3 stayed after 2 pr updates.Comment

My guess would be it was faked pr kinda.. what happens is when you reg'd the domain it prob had default nameservers for the reg company set to a default landing page that already had pr thus you stole the reg company's landing page PR.
