    ATTN: I am no longer with Phatservers, please welcome...

    Yes, it's true. After five years of slinging servers I have decided that it's time for something new. No drama, no bull shit. I will be starting something new very shortly, you will hear about it soon.

    For the past two weeks I have been training my replacement, Bridgette. Some of you have already had the pleasure of working with her. She is all caught up to where she needs to be and will be able to service all of your Phatservers sales needs. You can reach her at [email protected] or [email protected] .

    Thanks to everybody at Phatservers for five years of madness, LOL. It's been a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Moose introduced me to my newfound love of sushi! Weee!

    I will still be around for the weekend wrapping up some tasks, so if you guys need anything just let me know. It's been great working with you all. :-)

                                          Congrats on whatever your new venture brings. Speaking from experience, it is easy to get used to working for someone, but once you strike out on your own the world is your oyster.

                                                                          he jumps ship on you....& takes all those fucking contacts & customers with him to another host

                                                                          unless the host had the intelligence to get a non-disclosure/non-compete agreement signed

                                                                          but its not like SLY is going from phatservers to running his own hobby shop....i think we all know he's going to one of these new hosting companies (ok maybe he'll work on another project for 6 months...but we all know he'll be back doing hosting)

                                                                                  I know one reason I started in the VOD side was because I was sick of selling content and wanted a new challenge.

                                                                                                                  I'm sure part of it was you wanted a new challenge....but at least 1% of it had to be the much larger profit margin in VOD & sales opportunity....while typical small-scale content production is dying out.

                                                                                                                  But i will agree VOD had to be a challenge....new technology is always a challenge.
