    Think Star Wars is toooo Much for a 3 year old

    He loves to sword fight, and last night I started making the light saber sounds, and he LOVED it. Kept running around yelling More more and buzzing his lips.

          Nope, just make sure he understands that it's just a movie. Kids have the greatest imaginations.

                  The old 3 no, awesome for 3+, the new 3 yes, a bit too much, my boy 3 and 1/2 now LOVES them, new ones are a bit to scary for him though, but we must have watched the 1st 3 20 times... it's amazing how those movies are still that captivating to kids.... Even started buying him toys (wish i still had my old ones, but i blew those up.. lol)

                              I know a guy that had EVERY piece from the first 2 or 3 movies. Destroyed all of them but one piece, and it turned out to be a hard to find one. Sold it when he was 20 for 4k.

                                      Dude .. shows like star wars and other "Very fantasy" type films in my opinion are GREAT for young kids .. I have 3 kids and we never even used the word "Gun" for years but fantasy play with dragons, hero's and maidens being rescued is fantastic for the imagination I can't stomach kids playing gun this and that .. bang bang your dead stuff kills me .. I had fun teaching my sons safe sword play and ever found a antique kids suit of armor .. but just my opinion ...
