I can believe that maybe I won't get mail one day, but two in a row? Not going to happen. When I did not get any mail today, I knew something was up.
I called the USPS and filed a complaint and asked to have my local post office to call me back. They did.
The chick on the phone was nice enough, asking if I had any holds that I forgot about or something. I assured her I did not. She said she would do some checking and call me back.
When she called back she told me there was a susbstitute carrier on my route for the last couple of days (that much I knew), and that she had not delivered the mail because of the dog behind my screen door.
That is all well and good, except I do not own a dog. I have a bird, and a frog, neither of which look much like a dog. I was getting confused. Maybe she heard I was called baddog, and was taking it literally . . . then it dawned on me. My driveway!
