They fight with EVERYTHING. They were beating the hell out of my poor cat last night.... and my son tonight. They got hella balls, I can tell ya that much. lol

Fortunately someone has already thought of a solution for most of lifes problems. You can gets various insect killers at the local wal mart, most likely in electric or chemical form.

DESCRIPTION:
The adult green June beetle (family Scarabaeidae) is usually 3/4" to 1" long, and 1/2" wide. The top side is forest green, with or without lengthwise tan stripes on the wings. The underside is metallic bright green or gold, and has legs with sturdy spines to aid in digging. The head has a short hornlike process on the front. In the Mid-Atlantic region the names "June bug" and "June beetle" are commonly used for this insect. They're called "fig eater" in the southern part of their range. Do not confuse the green June beetle, however, with the familiar brown May or June beetles that are seen flying to lights on summer nights. The green June beetle adult flies only during the day.

Hell yeah they can be, I have long hair, so I won't be going out them there doors after dark for awhile. So does my husband, but they won't touch his hair.. LOL

detoxed, that's what we are looking up right now. I didn't know it, but they'll eat my damn trees I just planted. Last year it was Japanese Beetles, this year it is June Bugs.

Insects are going to be a BIG problem this year because of the warm winter. Because the ground did not free this winter, the cold (freezing) did not kill them. It is going to get worse.

You're just up the road, so you must be around a breeding area for them or somethin..

They get any worse and I'll be looking for a new place, they will own this one by JUNE!!!!!! lol

That's possible, there is a huge corn field right next to me, that could be it, not sure. It's huge though.
