On no people limit their creativity! What a crime against humanity! We should all be so 'creative' and have scat on TV. Parents play the most important role no doubt, but we are in a generation now that was raised on misguided values as well, and many of them prefer to be their kids best friend than their parent. It's a bad cycle.
And as for brainwashing people and pushing their values onto others, perhaps you should examine the mainstream media (aka Hollywood) for that. I am not saying it's all bad, but there is no doubt the media has pushed agenda's such as multiculturalism, gay-rights, pre-marital sex, etc in a very cunning and increasing way onto their audiences over the years to break down societies thoughts on these matters and replace them with their own.
