In a way, I suddenly have the feeling that the phrase "I've never been sick in my life" is becoming a cliche, because people are not made to be sick, and especially if you're young and move the body the immunity kind of copes with all the different bad stuff. But still you never know what happens to you, there is all kinds of weird shit that you can hardly prevent, no matter if you are self destructing yourself or slowly rot in a sterile environment eating all kinds of veggie shit and doing some douchebag activities such as jogging.
Then there is always a point where you realize you are becoming vulnerable, you can no more spend a week with 4 hours of sleep a day in average and if you get sick you won't recover in two days.
After about 9 years of intense nightlife - I never did any heavy stuff but was raised in the culture where you have to be able to stand about a gallon of booze and talk to the point - I recently figured that there are days I am starting to shake and have an action radius of Ozzy Osbourne, plus my heart beats like in a power ballad from Poison.
Something has changed, thus I quit at least the smoking part, and I even went that far that I am planning a massive comeback to the gym.
