I think I've been through 2 or 3 different ARS lineup changes since 2002.

Write a bunch of site reviews, then they decide to... make all new sites.. And cut out all their old sites.. And redirect to sites we've never reviewed. The reviews are basically useless now.

So we deleted all of our work, then re-wrote a bunch of reviews, and... it happened again.

Then the last time I think it was "Adult Movie Matrix" sites.. So we did a few of those, but we can't write that many reviews because they were all called the same thing, a whole slew of them all "Blah Blah Movie Matrix" I did make an attempt to send them more traffic in 2007, by writing fresh reviews.

All I can say is that's it's been a downward spiral for us. I don't know what other people have experienced, but I have no idea how their 126216 different programs work, things are always changing, it's like a moving target. I hope you reps send this thread to Becky DeForest so she can take a peek. I doubt it.

Here's my experience from a sales point of view, as a solid review site. We've always had good ratios, you can see yourself my site is quality, anyone here will tell you that.

2008 - General/Niche 2,297 2,103 401 12 0 0:2103 $0.00
2007 - General/Niche 15,793 14,193 3,590 113 8 1:1774 $155.00
2006 - General/Niche 8,064 7,516 1,898 133 15 1:501 $260.00
2005 - General/Niche 12,039 11,223 2,568 130 40 1:281
$1,560.00
2004 - General/Niche 6,816 6,257 1,587 47 34 1:184 $1,090.00

2002-2003 doesn't seem to be working, not showing any sales.. We definitely made a bunch of sales in 2002-2003 with ARS though, I'm sure better than 2004-2005. I even remember ordering something through their points program, because in 2002 they were really one of the top programs out there.

Also look at 2005 VS 2006.. looks like they heavily dropped payouts any way you look at it. $39 a sale in 2005, $19 a sale in 2006!

Anyways I know we never heavily promoted them, but this kind of dryup is pretty crazy, especially the ratios. 1:184 to 1:1700 over a full year is nuts, same traffic. Overall site wide, we've been doing fine. I know, small amount of traffic, etc.. But anyways it's the stats and the truth, numbers don't lie, just wanted to throw it out there.

I'm sure if their site lineup had stayed steady we would have made more money too.

Get Becky DeForest in here!
ARS Michelle, how about addressing these issues intead of bashing the original poster who had already been told to fuck off?
