I wish, I have a whole group of buddies going and instead I'll be at a 50th wedding anniversary right up the street in Palm Springs. I hear it's a good time.

I'm going with a group of peeps, ten of us in all. Taking the RV out.

Tips:

It's gonna be really HOT! You'll be thankful when the fire-trucks come by the outside queue and spray water on you. Dress appropriately. Not a bad idea to have a hat.

You will be searched and so will anything you are carrying in (backpack, etc).

Wear comfortable shoes. You're going to be walking, dancing, and standing a lot.

Plan to go earlier than you think you need to. If you go at the busiest time it can take an hour to get from the main road to where you will park and it will take probably twice as long to leave.

Cell service can be spotty. You'll probably be okay but don't go there relying on it.

If there is an act you really want to see up close, go to the performance on that stage just prior to the show you want to see and work your way up. Otherwise, forget about getting anywhere close.

You'll have a blast. Where else can you go see Prince, Roger Waters, and Kraftwerk?
(Even if you're not a fan, don't miss Kraftwerk)

I'll be there with a bunch of people. We're staying at my house in La Quinta 2 miles from the polo grounds, parking our RV on the grounds. Got a couple golfcarts w/ all access so we can drive around inside, to and from shows to our RV and then back home, etc...
