No, my mom would only like it if I was a doctor or lawyer or pharmacist. My family considers even regular jobs such as office jobs, office clerks, secretary, car mechanic already as terrible so they would consider being an adult webmaster beyond terrible.
Almost all my cousins graduated from med school, AT WORST they have a business degree (and to be honest that's already looked down on). My family is the type where they consider doctors the highest and everything else not as good so of course I'm not gonna tell them. Thye look down on engineers too, i remember one of my uncles saying "so and so is ONLY an engineer", he's trying to say that person is not as "high in status" as him cause he's a doctor.
When I was younger all my family talked about was so and so went to med school , this person is so smart, this cousing got a scholarship blah blah... it was drilled in my head since I was born. Look where it lead me.Last edited by rants; 04-16-2006, 02:06 PM.Comment

i haven't told my parents but my gf parents do know and they fully support me doing it.
It was a little strange for them in the beginning just as it was for my gf.
Most people do seem to think that as adult webmasters don't do anything but play with ourselves all day, which to some extent could be true
My gf thought i didn't fancy her any more....you know the usual stuff.
Anyways if my parents know probably my brother or sister told them.
I didn't tell them not to speak about it cuz i really don't care if they find out.
