No country on the earth has a Navy large enough to invade...even if they did they would not be allowed to mass an invasion force. Many weapons...including tactical nukes...can take out an invasion force. No country on the earth has the Air power to cover an invasion force or to penetrate our airspace. you never know, there are endless posibilitys... maybe someone plants a virus that spreads and kill 1/3-1/2 of the US population... the whole country would be a mess... then it could be invaded. The economy is still in a state of growth...although it is in a slowdown period. Technically we are not yet in a recession as a recession is officially defined...but even if we were we have had recessions in the past and came out of them stronger than ever before. We once even had a depression and came out of it as a World power. We have the same allies that we had coming out of the second world war and even more...since there are now more NATO members than ever. We have not lost a single country. As for some foreign smucks opinion...I could personally care less...and I think this applies to the majority of Americans.
