Yes it looks as if you are jumping over the car, and he actually could, but hes not in the path of the car.
This is an old trick, requires no "editing" or anything like that.
They probably added in the shadow. But he's really jumping, and thats a real car coming towards him. Its just not on the same path.

yeap, this post pretty much says it all.......I just stopped the video at the frame where the car came into the scene and it is obviously not in the same path as Kobe......nice trick though
