FUCK.

Just lanced this mother fucker military style. right on my left leg just above the knee on the inside of the thigh.

HOLY MOTHER OF FUCKING PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can handle pain pretty damn good, but this shit was off the charts.

Right on top of a nerve bed too so the pain shot up my leg to where i couldn't walk for a few days.

Its draining now in a surgical wrap. Holy fuck not fun.

It is always better to do it yourself at home with whatever rusty tools you have as opposed to going to a doctor. A doctor would only try to mess with it and stuff.

Had one so bad I had to go down to Osan AB (was stationed at Suwon) and have it lanced, they kept me overnight as a result (dripping antibiotics to be safe).

I had one on my right ass cheek when I was 15 yrs old. Couldn't sit down - and I was embarASSed as hell. I thought it was a fucking BAD pimple (dumb kid).

Finally i had to tell my father who promptly laughed at me - NOT FUNNY!

He went out and got some black salve, applied it to the boil, covered it with gauze and it pulled all the nasty gunk out almost over night. Fucking disgusting - but it worked and i haven't gotten one since.

I got a gnarly staph infection when I was in the Philippines on vacation, back in 92'. I think I cut my foot on some coral, but it started out as a little pimple and then swelled like a mofo. When I landed back in the US, the thing bursted at my Grandparents house.

I would continue my battle w/ this for years and years and was on multiple antibiotics. I would have to go and get lanced and drained w/ wicks. Not fun. Staph is gnarly. My Grandma died after her triple bypass because she developed a staph infection.

The shit scares me.
