If I remember correctly, an affiliate program had problems with B of A....and ended up switching banks.....might be Silver Cash....I'm too lazy to go do a search, but it was a few years ago...

Actually my bank(RBC) has never given me any trouble. Im sure if it was against their policy, they would have shown me the door long ago,and i would have just gone to another bank. Its just that sometimes the tellers ask what i do for a living and i dont think its any of their business to know, so i tell them "i sell video games on the net".

no, someone does not have a right to discriminate based on job profession. What I do is legal. That would be like saying we will not provide service to car salesmen or lawyers. There is nothing in their companies policies that gave them the right to discrimate based on their moral feelings. These cock suckers need to learn business is one thing, your personal moral beliefs are another, keep your moral shit to yourself and out of your businiess. Don;t want anyone to get confussed, ethics and morals are too totally diferent things. If your god says drinking is wrong, then you shouldn't deny me service because i drink a beer, get the idea. That could get way out of hand and is bad business. It's a half step away from discriminating based on age or religion etc.

It's funny when I tell people like banks, etc.. how i make my money their eyes either get real wide and they are like wow you make all that money from that, and then proceed to ask for passwords (like i have a magic bag of passwords to give out). Then there is the other response, which is their ass puckering up and they look at me like i have the plague. It is pretty much an either or type deal.

I am still in shock from the disability coverage company. I am the perfect client for them, low risk for injury. Not likely to break anything typing on the keyboard at my desk. I was preferred rated, perfect health. but because my income came from the adult industry they did not want to cover me. They knew full well that I was not a porn actor or anything like that, and they even cited their reasons for not covering me as being moral issues.

I deal with a small town bank. They have like 4 branches, they are so small. Then branch VP (Matt) knows me on a first names basis. He knows what I do. He don't care. He once asked me for passwords, I explained the affiliate concept to him and explained I had no passwords. Then all he wanted was gallery URL's.

BTW, I've heard very mixed things about Bank of America. A number of people have said they have closed down accounts on the spot when they found out the business was adult, but others have said that there are some branches in LA where they welcome the business openly. So it probably depends on regional policy or something.

Well, most of the 123Bill deposits are adult in nature. They are aware, also, that the hosting company primarily services adult.

I dont care what my bank thinks, but I also only do deposits at the ATM for the last several years, so never had an opportunity for a teller to ask me where a check is from.

Considering the competitive nature of the banking industry it surprises me any would have any moral problems.
