Anyway to make a network share mimic a local drive?

Anyone know of a program or windows hack that will cause a network share (i.e. \\server\shared_folder) to mimic a local drive, so that it can be referenced via a drive letter (i.e. G:\shared_folder) ???

Anyone know if this is possible?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
