Can a blog move too fast? Too many updates?

If I update my blog 15 times a day do you think people would get pissed? Or do you think they'd like it becuase every time they visit they'll see something new, different, and interesting. And I'm not talking just listing galleires, I'm talking about real posts with real content.

I think it would depend on the amount of traffic you're getting. If you're getting a lot of traffic then i would consider updating many times a good thing. However, if you don't have a lot of traffic it would be a complete waste to update so many times a day because you won't be maximizing traffic to those updates.

      IMHO

There is no way you can update to much. It gives readers choices, they spend more time on the site, it's more food for google, they know everyday will be fresh, etc. The trick in my opinion is making sure it's laid out well.

you should update your website alot, have a script that shows them what they missed from their last visit.

As long as updates are quality, you can't have too many of them. Beware of "filler" content though.

Great idea! Is there an open source script, or a plugin that would do this?

more updates is always good... just make sure they are quality like everyone else was saying..

If its a splog then probably would be good to start out slow and increase updates gradually.
